Applications of Our POM Polyol
Used across coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and other advanced materials, our POM Polyol helps create products with superior properties and improved sustainability.
Products
The next generation of polymers
Our current focus is particularly directed towards industrial adhesives & coatings, thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) and lubricants, but we are also always open to addressing new fields.
TPU
TPUs with higher modulus, hardness, and tear resistance by also improving properties like OTR.
Adhesives & Coatings
Industrial adhesives and coatings with better compatibility with PE, PP, PLA, enhanced recyclability and lower OTR.
Lubricants
Base oils between PAGs and PAOs for lubricant formulations with e.g. higher thermal stability, particularly for industrial machinery.

Application Proof
Thermoplastic Polyurethanes.
Powered by POM polyols.
Compared with a classic PPG benchmark, the POM-based system shows a clear shift toward higher modulus, improved tear resistance and increased Shore A hardness – an attractive performance profile for robust elastomer and TPU developments.
Performance where it matters.
The data indicates a stiffer and more tear-resistant material response, while maintaining strong elastomeric behavior for TPU applications.

Adhesives & Coatings
POM-based polyols show promising performance in adhesive and coating systems, especially where barrier performance, adhesive strength, and recyclability are relevant. The internal comparison highlights lower oxygen transmission, improved prepolymer adhesive performance, and strong results in recycling-related laminate testing.
